Heat

It is unnaturally hot here in the Boston area, and it doesn’t appear we will have relief for at least a couple more days.

I recently fixed up the Artwork Theming Overview page on the Fedora wiki as the MediaWiki translation didn’t go well for it. A lot more work will need to happen on that page though before F10 comes out, since RHGB is going to be replaced. So I’m thinking I’ll probably do a complete revamp of it sometime soon.

If you haven’t already, you should propose or support a theme on the Fedora 10 artwork themes proposal page. :) The theme I’ve been working the most on is Neon. I would love to hear your feedback on the mockups so far!

  1. At least it’s not Arizona

Boston sounds nice. It’s 102 here today.

  2. It was a beautiful pair of days for bike riding… sunny, light breeze, no rain.

  3. More cities in theme

I can immediately tell that this picture was taken in Hong Kong. (Note the name of the department store!)

  4. If you’re playing with the neon-cityscape idea, feel free to use any of these photos for backgrounds:

      • Sure, that would be just dandy.
I should probably put a CC tag on the gallery somewhere, maybe later.

You probably don’t want to use the pachinko parlor one. “Fedora: It’s Thinly-Veiled Gambling!”

There is a very specific street scene I remember from Kyoto, a brightly-lit but exceptionally seedy and shady back-alley, looked like it was right out of Blade Runner. It’s burned in my mind’s eye, and like a dope I didn’t take a picture. Next time!
